Summary of Job Duties 
The Administrative Specialist II position is responsible for directly assisting the Director for Administrative Services and other members of the Administrative Services area as needed. This position organizes meetings, meeting room reservations and special events for the Administrative Services Director/Team. The Administrative Specialist II screens incoming phone calls and visitors at the front desk area of the University Housing office. This position is also responsible for organizing and maintaining administrative files and completing tasks for the Administrative Services area such as travel and area specific updates. 

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

  • The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
  • At least two years of experience in a specialized or related area applicable to work performed
