Member Duties : The Red Cross Corps Member will: provide preparedness programs, presentations, and materials to adults and children to increase preparedness and resiliency in the face of an emergency; develop relationships with community groups and organizations to build access to communities and spread the importance of preparedness and resiliency; support volunteers in setting up preparedness presentations by providing logistical support that may include distribution of handout materials, equipment needed for presentations, and coordination with community stakeholders hosting preparedness events with the Red Cross; and complete the necessary training to assist the Disaster Cycle Services Department during large-scale disasters if needed.
