Student Development Specialist

Student Counseling, Assessment & Development Center
The Student Development Specialist reports to the Director of the Student
Counseling, Assessment and Development Center.
Major responsibilities include :
Individual and group counseling
Outreach programming; particularly in resident halls, academic
units, Student Health Services and others as requested.
Administering university and national tests as requested.
Performing other duties as needed or requested.
Qualifications: Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or a
related Mental Health field. The Student Development Specialist should have prior
training and/or experience in a higher education setting, preferably in a counseling
center. Must be licensed or license eligible in the state of Arkansas. Must possess the
ability to assess and intervene with individual, group, and campus-wide
problems/issues.
