Job Description
Wisconsin Public Service, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is currently recruiting for Seasonal Locators for our Green Bay, Two Rivers, Sheboygan and Sturgeon Bay locations. If you are looking to work in the energy industry and enjoy working outside this is a great opportunity to join our team!
Our Seasonal Locators typically work from spring thaw to winter freeze up, coinciding with the construction season.
These positions have a starting wage of $19.63/hr.
Responsibilities:- Process locate requests.
- Locate and mark underground gas, electric, and fiber optic facilities.
- Provide customer service.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or HSED
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a technical school program in natural gas distribution or electrical power distribution
- Previous experience as a gas and/or electric facilities locator
- Previous experience as a gas and/or electric facilities locator
